The Beach
The Wildwood beaches are huge, cover most of the island, and best of all, they’re free! Many of the most well-known Jersey Shore towns charge a fee for visiting the beach, but not Wildwood. Throughout the island, from North Wildwood and Anglesea to Wildwood Crest, it’s all 100% free. This is a great money saver for families visiting the Jersey Shore.
The wide, sandy beach is just steps away. Build sandcastles, splash in the waves, or boogie board with the kids. We provide beach chairs and umbrellas (availability may vary), so you can relax under the sun while the kids play. Don’t forget to pack your frisbee, beach ball, or a kite for some extra fun! Lifeguards are on duty during peak hours, for added peace of mind.
Children love the Wildwood beaches, and they’ll want to come back again and again. No problem…you can visit the Wildwood beach for free anytime.
The Boardwalk
The iconic Wildwood Boardwalk is a must-do for any visitor. Stroll along the two-mile stretch, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Jersey Shore. Grab some world-famous fudge, indulge in delicious funnel cake, or try your hand at classic carnival games.

Mini-Golf, Anyone?
The Wildwoods island is home to multiple outstanding miniature golf courses, both on and off the boardwalk. Play in a haunted 3-D course on the boardwalk, or try the mini-golf on top of the roof at the Starlux hotel.
